My journey to this moment is much like others I have take. When I was in the eighth grade, I made a decision to join the United States Navy. Two weeks after my 17th birthday, that is what I did! I served on active duty with the Navy for four years, then transitioned to the Naval Reserve for one year before transferring to my eventual home with the Vermont Air National Guard. I spent my first 14 years with the Guard as a traditional guardsman, working one weekend a month and 15 additional days per year, while carrying on a full-time job, raising a family and attending college part-time. I graduated with my Associates in Applied Science through the Community College of the Air Force in 2006. In 2008 I earned my Bachelor of Science through the Johnson State College.
I had the opportunity to join the force full time at the Guard almost nine years ago. Icontinue there still full-time. In July I celebrated with 28 years of combined military service for me. Over the years I have participated in many capacities within my community by serving on “Friends of Fletcher Elementary” for several years. Then as a Justice of the Peaceforthe town of Fletcher for a term. I served on the Fletcher Elementary School Board for approximately eight years and the Franklin West Supervisory Union board several times throughout those eight years.
During that time I was able to serve on the Cambridge Fire Department Auxiliary for about 16 years, until our recent disbanding in the Spring of 2016. My most recent community endeavor was as co-coach of the BFA Fairfax Middle School Cheerleading team. My neighbor and I took on when the team was suddenly without a coach just a couple of weeks before the season was set to begin. We coached the past two years and recently stepped down.
My husband, Chris and I have been married for 20 years, and we have three beautiful daughters, Ashley, 23, Ekaterina, 19 and Samantha, 14. Last year, our oldest daughter, Ashley gave us a beautiful granddaughter named Kinsley. We have lived in Fletcher for 18 years.
This brings me to my most recent adventure, real estate! I made the decision to finally take the leap this past Spring and signed up for the intense 40 hour real estate course and then immediately took my state and local exam and passed. My sights are set on helping make your dreams come true! I am here to help you sell your home and buy the home you will love for years to come!
